What they do (consent managers)
A Consent Manager is registered with the Board and acts as a single point of contact so a principal can give, manage, review and withdraw consent through an accessible, transparent and interoperable platform. A principal may give consent through one. The Consent Manager is accountable to the principal and acts on her behalf. Under the Rules, registration conditions are in the First Schedule, for example being an Indian company with a prescribed minimum net worth and sound financial standing.
