Step 1: Download VMware Fusion

1. Access VMware’s Website: In order to download the free VMWare Fusion Pro for personal use, you need to click the link below and follow the below steps till the end and you will not face any issue.
2. Go to the VMware Fusion Tech Preview page. this link will be open in a new tab, click on the Vmware Fusion Pro for Mac as highlighted below. Afterwards you will be redirected to Broadcom Page.

3. In order to login to Broadcom you need first registered the account with your personal ID. Once created the login dashboard will look as below:

4. No need to search just directly click the link : VMware Fusion and it will redirect to the below landing page. Select the VMware Fusion 13 PRO for Personal use and inside it select the 13.5.2 the latest version.

Note: The version might be updated, however as of writing this article the latest version is 13.5.2.

5. Select the term and click on the download button the 750MB .dmg file will be download in your downloads folder.

Step 2: Install VMware Fusion

   • Choose “Install from disk or image.” if you have the ISO file already downloaded.
   • Otherwise select the Get Windows from Microsoft, in this technical blog, i have selected the same and directly download the professional Windows 11 ISO file from the trusted Microsoft site without any hassle.

7. Locate the OS Image:
   • Browse for and select the operating system ISO file you plan to install (e.g., Windows, Linux).

   • Allocate resources such as CPU, RAM, and disk space. Recommended minimums are 4 GB of RAM and 60 GB of disk space for Windows.
8. Install the Operating System:
   • Follow the OS installation process as prompted within VMware Fusion.

Step 5: Activate VMware Fusion Pro

    • Use VMware Fusion Player for free if it’s for personal use, which does not require a license.
    • For full features, enter a license key or request a trial key from VMware.
